NJ Licensed School Teacher. I taught 7th and 8th grade for ten years, and 5th grade 1 year. I have had great success as a teacher and tutor because I truly love my profession and it shows. My students success and well being are always at the top of the list. I make learning fun and attainable so my kids gain self confidence in and out of the classroom. I served as a PEER counselor for 4 years and I believe that improved my educator skills as well because it allowed me to have a better understanding of things that were going on outside of school and how they impacted my students in the classroom. Empathy is really important when you're a teacher.
