Experience

United Way, Newark, NJ (2012) Volunteer for a Spring Break extra- curricular program for underprivileged adolescents helping them with both social and educational skills. I set the criteria and lesson plans for both art and reading classes. The Atrium at Hamilton Park, Jersey City, NJ (2012) Intern as an Art Therapist helping the patients state of well- being through the means of art. I was able to work alongside a Recreational and Music Therapist while interning. United Way Mentor Training (2013) Received training in how to positively and effectively mentor a child/adolescent in order to help them take control of their lives in a purposeful way academically, emotionally and socially. Substitute Teacher (2014- current) - Substituted Pre-k through 3rd grade classrooms as well as a Special Needs classrooms mixed with children on 2nd through 5th grade levels.
